The Challenge
We tell our clients that a consistent brand identity is the foundation of everything, their website, their social media, their print materials. But for a long time, White Oak Media did not have that same foundation documented for ourselves. Our own colors, fonts, and design patterns lived in Zach's head, not in a system anyone could follow. If we were going to keep growing and bringing on partners, we needed to put our own brand on paper.
Our Approach
We built a comprehensive brand kit covering every touchpoint, from logo usage and color palettes to typography scales, decoration vocabulary, social media carousel frameworks, and a full do's-and-don'ts guide. The kit is a living HTML document with our actual Gilroy font files loaded, every color swatch rendered with real hex values, and exportable as a clean PDF. It is the same format we now use when building brand kits for clients.
